funny story: thursday was my first day of Bookseller School. it was a pretty eventful day: got lost, learned lots of things, chuckled at the idea of a Death List and all that jazz. i even wrote down a bunch of stuff to specifically blog about but you know…i’m just not feeling it. *throws up papers*

• Action Comics - at least until Paul Cornell’s run finishes. i’m patiently awaiting Death’s appearance!
• Batgirl - loving the creative teams on the relaunch [i think we’re up to vol.3]. Stephanie Brown is a great Batgirl
• Brightest Day - it only too 7-8 issues for me to get into this title…damn that hype machine >_>
• DC Universe Legacies - very cool way to revisit DC Comic’s history. congrats on 75 years, here’s to hoping you make it to 100.
• Fables - first thing i read if it’s on my stack. ‘nuff said.
• Flash - love me my speedsters. Geoff Johns + Francis Manapul = brilliant.
• Legion of Super Heroes - at times it’s confusing, quirky, plot-hole ridden and god help me try to keep track of their rooster but i’m a sucker for these 31st Century punks.
• Red Hood: The Lost Days - Jason Todd comes back into the DCU and hits the ground running. he’s taking names and killing cats…not literally.
• Red Robin - Chris Yost did a fantastic job making Tim Drake a breakout hero after Bruce’s disappearance. easily my favorite of bat-related books.
• Taskmaster - from out of nowhere a Marvel book! so happy i’m biased toward this muscle memory bad-ass, because i saw it on the wall and snatched a copy. the next 3 issues are on my pull list. -J.A
