New ‘Rurouni Kenshin’ Anime Green-Lit

Did I just read this right? 

Yes, to commemorate 15 years of this series, Rurouni Kenshin is getting a new anime project that is to be announced on Thursday. In addition, 3 additional OVA/film projects are scheduled for release this year.

This is very good news for those who weren’t excited with the way the original anime ended, provided that the series tapered off after the Kyoto arc. 

There will be more information in future Jump Square magazine issues.
