FLASH! aah-aah~ POINT (week 01)

i started reading DC Comics in 2004, with Identity Crisis. i fell in love with it. i said i’m in and where do i get more? … 7 years and Infinite Crisis, 52, One Year Later, Countdown, Final Crisis, Blackest Night and Brightest Day later, i was SO tired. i was fed up with events. i don’t remember my exact words but it sounded like this:

“i don’t care. i’m skipping Flashpoint. i’m worn the f**k out.”

so DC goes: we’re changing everything! 52 new titles! if you still care about the DCU, here’s the bandwagon! 20x 3-issue tie-ins, on top of the 5-issue main book, oh and 2 issues Booster Gold. see you at the Flashpoint!

-_- ouch DC. cheap shot. at $2.99 a book, everyone’s wallet hates you..but here i am, reading everything Flashpoint. i’m officially eating my words. once a week until September, i’ll be talking about the books with the shortest synopsis i can write (i promise) and if it’s a READ or a PASS. NOTE: if it hasn’t been clear, i’m gonna SPOILER all over the place, and no, i’m not talking about Stephanie Brown. book reviews after the jump.
